The whole problem with the GW “industry” has been that this false science has used up valuable time and energy that could have been better used in working on solutions to problems that affect real people in a real way. We would be better served if the world political community got behind eliminating hunger, or providing potable water for every human, proper sanitation and eradication of malaria etc etc. Instead, we are forced to consider catastrophic predictions of doom at the expense of doing something tangible and beneficial for mankind. 50 years from now, historians will look back at this period and scratch their collective heads about how it came to be that the “elites” and “intellectuals” could have been so out of phase and touch. Call it the flat earth effect in reverse.
