In spite of the fact that global warming has been shown to be a natural occurance and that the data spewed out by green weenies is motivated by political belief, IJ and Reuters continue to parrot the left wing nonsense as seen in this article.

Many have studied the data and the facts thoroughly for years and can see that the facts DO NOT support the idea of man made climate change.

    Shame on IJ and Reuters.

You are spot on and the only reason they keep pushing it, is that they still think there is money, control and power in it.

The fact that this well respected publication would so blatantly propagandize for the state and it’s desire to control our every move causes me to lose much respect for it. Insurance Journal use to be one of my daily reads, it has now been relegated to the periphery. I only look at MSM sites to find out what the state is on about today. I get my real information for myself. Insurance Journal, I now consider you part of the MSM.

I agree it’s too bad that IJ has been relegated to just a msm news aggregation feeder service. Seems the writers here are just too lazy to do any research or are politically motivated by left leaning ideology, and try their best to steer away from the true science.

–Rising temperatures can aggravate the aftermath of disasters, as well as causing creeping changes from higher temperatures such as disruptions to food production.–

Really? It can also lengthen growing seasons in temperate climes resulting in more food.

If temps are rising, it’s got nothing to do with man and no govt can do anything about it – accept make its cronies lots of money with cap n trade, carbon credits, etc.

“My plan will necessarily make electricity rates skyrocket,” -President Obooba. No really, he said that.

They just won’t give up-a true example of cognitive dissonance.

The only good thing is that these ninnies are finally using GW to go after diseases and other human misery issues, something that should have deserved more attention and economic resources long before the money was wasted on GW cloud chasing.

Oh, don’t worry, they still won’t admit that anthropogenic GW is at the root of all evil but at least their focus have been removed a bit from contolling people to helping people. Maybe, just maybe, they have inadevertenly swerved into doing some good.

Good article, points out that poli-science had damaged true science to the point that people are doubting that any science is seeking the facts but rather to spin facts to support a political agenda. Scientists let the politicians in the door, now they can’t get them to go home. What a shame for those scientists who are seeking truth over the political advantage of reaping a grant for making “informed” discoveries.
