Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services said today it assigned its “A” long-term insurer financial strength and counterparty credit ratings on Singapore-based ACE Insurance Ltd. with a stable outlook. S&P said the ratings “reflect its strategic importance to the ACE group (core operating companies rated A+/Stable/–) as part of the global franchise and its strategy in Asia.
