Zurich to Provide Up to $2 Million in SE Asia Aid

The Zurich Financial Services Group announced that it will provide up to $2 million to countries in Southeast Asia affected by the tsunami catastrophe.

Zurich said the sum “will consist of a donation of $1 million. In addition, the Group will match up to $1 million in charitable contributions made by Zurich employees.”

The company said that, under its disaster relief program, “employees can make contributions to a recognized charitable organization of their choice.
