Thank you very much Jane for the information. I am forwarding this information for the family in Curacao Netherlands Antilles who are very anxious while they are expecting the hurrican to hit them at 4 this afternoon. My husbands parents are native to the Island of Greneda. So you can imagine the stress we are going through, knowing that Greneda has already been hit, knowing that it is so close to Curacao and knowing that it might be on its way to Florida where I live right now. but thanks again. Our ABC islands have been spaired for 50 years. So nobody I know can remember a hurricane passing.

Please, has anyone any information re damage to Grenada? My brother and sister-in-law, Bob and Susan Hickman reside there. He is the only Chiropractor on the island. They live in St. George, across the street from the Prime Minister’s house. I was informed that the PM’s house was gone. Please, if anyone has any information, e-mail me. Thank you.

    Hi,
I live here and we are awaiting the developmentof Ivan it is presently +- 100mls N of Curacao & Bonaire heading west. This will put the eye +- 75 to 150 miles north of Aruba. The anticipated wind speed is 50 – 70kts with 15 – 18′ seas and of course plenty of rain. This will be managable with no danger other than to properties.
IF it exceeds or overtakes expectation I will keep you posted. You can call me on +297 593 0552 if you are really worried.
    Ciao
