Authorities say a fire has caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to three boats stored at a facility on Buffalo’s Lake Erie waterfront.
Fire dispatch officials tell The Buffalo News that the blaze was reported around 6 a.m. Monday at the RCR Yachts marina and boatyard off Fuhrmann Boulevard, near downtown Buffalo.
Damage was estimated at $300,000 to one boat, and $50,000 each to two others.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
