Police are investigating the death of a medical resident who apparently fell down a flight of stairs at a well-known Buffalo, N.Y., concert venue.
Authorities tell local media that 28-year-old Rajan Verma of Elizabeth, New Jersey, died Monday night after falling down stairs outside the Tralf Music Hall soon after a performance had ended.
Police say his death was ruled accidental and that no foul play is suspected. They’re looking for anyone who might have witnessed the incident.
Verma was a first-year internal medicine resident in the University at Buffalo’s organized education program.
According to his Facebook page, Verma graduated from St. John’s University in New York City in 2008 before going on to medical school at American University of Antigua.
