Fire officials say a Springfield, Va., couple have been charged with setting a house fire.
Fifty-six-year-old German Balladares and 41-year-old Balladares were charged Friday with burning a house with intent to defraud an insurance company.
Fairfax County fire investigators say the fire occurred in June 2008 and caused $75,000 in damage to the single-family home.
Officials say a firefighter suffered a non-life-threatening injury battling the blaze.
