Baltimore fire officials say they are investigating the cause of a five-alarm fire in the city’s Fells Point neighborhood that caused $1.5 million in damage.
Officials said Thursday that investigators and police arson detectives are working to identify the cause of the fire. They say investigators have determined the fire caused $500,000 in structural damage to the partially vacated warehouse and $1 million in damage to materials inside.
The fire broke out last week at a three-story building on Broadway Street and took several hours to bring under control. More than 120 firefighters battled the blaze. One firefighter suffered a foot injury.
