Authorities in New London, Conn., have closed off part of Bank Street because of falling glass from a building.
The Day of New London reports several panes of glass fell four stories Wednesday night, crashing down near two pedestrians.
The building has been cordoned off and a portion of Bank Street remained closed Thursday morning.
City officials say a building inspector will look at the structure to determine what must be done to make it safe before reopening that section of the street.
