The number of fatal traffic accidents has dropped in New Hampshire.
Department of Public Safety statistics show that 88 people were killed in crashes last year, down from 128 in 2010 and 110 in 2009. That’s 40 fewer people.
WMUR-TV reports that overall traffic crashes have dropped 11 percent in the last year, from about 32,000 in 2010 to more than 25,000 in 2011.
