The U.S. Small Business Administration approved $715,000 in low-interest disaster loans for homeowners, renters or business owners.
The magnitude 5.8-earthquake that shook the East Coast on Aug. 23 was centered in Mineral.
More than 2,500 earthquake victims have registered for some type of disaster aid with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
