Two more former Brimfield firefighters have pleaded guilty to setting three fires.
Patrick Elliott of Charlton and Brian Findlay of Ashford, Conn. pleaded guilty Tuesday in Hampden Superior Court to a single count each of burning of a building. They are scheduled to be sentenced on Sept. 20.
Authorities say the 20-year-old Elliott and 19-year-old Findlay were two of five call firefighters from Brimfield and Holland accused of setting fires in the towns last summer. No one was hurt.
Court documents indicate the men told police they were bored and tired of answering ambulance calls.
Two of the five have previously pleaded guilty and been sentenced to probation and ordered to pay restitution.
Defense lawyers say Elliott and Findlay should receive a similar punishment.
Charges against one are still pending.
