So you put out a reward to all salvage dealers for the identity of the idiots who try to sell this stuff. Any salvage dealer caught with the items should get jail time and foreclosure of their business. Without a significant consequence, this nonsense will continue.

are the converters worth $1,474 retail in the box or installed? Surely the platimun is not worth $28,000? What does the $28,000 represent? Were they removed with a pipe cutter, simply un-bolted, was it necessary to replace the exhaust from mufflers to end oftail pipes?
    These stories need more information.

looks to me like “justice” & “ross” on right track! There is a well known junk yard outside Clinton, NC that will take ANYTHING (cars, trucks, buses, school buses, copper pipe, HVAC, any metal of value) as long as the windows are knocked out. NO TITLE needed, no questions asked, paid for in cash. Local, State and NCBI have known of this for years and do nothing! Regulation needed! No positive ID, NO BUY! Report to local, state and federal police or get shut down and jail time! The State Patrol Academy is within rifle shot of this operation. AMAZING!!!
