A southwestern Pennsylvania home gutted by a fire was destroyed by a second blaze a day later.
Officials with the Cokeburg Volunteer Fire Department say the home caught fire around noon Saturday while the family was at a funeral. The home was considered a total loss after burning for three hours.
But Washington County dispatchers tell WTAE-TV the house caught fire a second time early Sunday morning. That fire leveled the home.
The first fire was not considered suspicious. It’s not immediately clear if a cause has been determined for the second blaze.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced family.
