Geico Files $1.8M Lawsuit over Alleged No-Fault Fraud in New York

    Fraud is illegal, period. Glad some companies have the gonads to go after these people.
    Maybe others will learn from this. Put enough people in jail and hopefully someone will learn!
    But crooks are crooks and will probably not change.

    According to the 2009 AM Best report for property/casualty lines in New York in terms of written premiums (% of total market share):

    GEICO 22.2%
    Allstate 18.9%
    State Farm 10.1%
    Progressive 7.6%

    Now that we realize that you didn’t bother to look it up. I’m going to deduct ten points from your score for making me work.

    Sorry that was 2007 AM best information. Now for the most current NY P/C by % market share:

    GEICO 23.0%
    Allstate 18.9%
    State Farm 10.8%
    Progressive 6.6%

    oath?! doctors take an oath to supposedly help those in need. problem, is that helpful needed true? hence, FRAUD! lawyers in most cases are just looking for money in their pocket…. lawyers don’t take an oath, just supposedly take money to help their clients (either win or lose)… fraud can happen anywhere, apparently it did here…
