Stop & Shop has issued a voluntary recall of some cooked chicken sold in its Pawtucket, Rhode Island store.
The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co. says the precooked chicken tenders and Buffalo chicken tenders were removed from the supermarket’s shelves after managers determined there was a possibility that the products were not fully cooked before they were packaged.
The recall involves only Stop & Shop Homestyle Chicken Tenders and Stop & Shop Boneless Buffalo Tenders, purchased on Oct. 9 in its store on Beverage Hill Avenue.
Nobody has reported becoming sick after eating the chicken. The company says anyone who purchased those products should properly discard any unused portions and request a refund at the store’s service desk.
