Police say a Long Island woman set fire to her ex-boyfriend’s car, destroying it and damaging the rear of his house.
The Hempstead resident was arrested on Wednesday and charged with arson. She is scheduled to be arraigned later Thursday.
Nassau County police say the victim’s Ford Taurus was “totaled.” The Hempstead house was occupied by the victim and two of his relatives at the time of the fire.
The incident occurred last Friday.
There were no injuries.
