Firefighters say a 70-year-old roofer working on a house in Merrimack, N.H., fell about 30 feet and landed on his back.
Assistant Fire Chief Dave Parenti says Robert Fellows of Boston, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The Telegraph reports Fellows, who works for a Massachusetts roofing company, was up on the house when he apparently slipped off just before 10:15 a.m. Monday. It’s unclear what caused the fall.
Fellows landed on a pile of discarded roofing shingles.
