Beacon Mutual Insurance Co. will hold a one-day safety fair next month in Warwick, Rhode Island aimed at addressing workplace hazards.
Training sessions will cover construction safety, including aerial lift safety, CPR certification, respirator training, hand and power tool safety, electrical safety training and general fall protection.
Participants include representatives from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA), Rhode Island Committee on Occupational Health and Safety (RICOSH), Department of Labor and Training’s Workers’ Compensation and Compensation Fraud and Compliance units, American Society of Safety Engineers and the Rhode Island Fire Marshal’s office.
