They can not be treated equally because some kids act like animals – just like their ‘hood parents do.

Good observations Reagan. The sad, but nonetheless truth is that the black race needs to change it’s image an behavior. I too have witnessed this type of behavior. I reside in a NJ suburb where a waterpark was constructed less than a block from the ocean. EVERYDAY during the summer months, busloads of black children are BUSED in from NYC and Newark. They descend on the place like a buch of wild animals, running and shouting at one another. This kind of behavior keeps black from making any progress in society. Sad, but true.

As for this lawsuit, nobody should be surprised. It’s ALWAYS somebody else’s fault when an accident happens. In spite of what every plaintiff alleges, IT’S ALWAYS ABOUT MONEY. Justice has been lost.

Agree. Why would the family attorney bring up the heart attack? This sounds like something the swim club defense attorney would say.

If the boy had a heart attack waiting in line at McDonald’s, would they sue the company for the greasy fast food that caused his heart attack? No. It had nothing to do with the food – just like it has nothing to do with the pool. It could happen anywhere. I’m sure the club has elderly members too…should they be prohibited from the pool because of their increased risk? Seriously! If they pulled that kid within 60 seconds, that is amazing. Who knows how many people were in the water, flopping around like idiots…to spot a serious situation and react in that amount of time is amazing to me. My heart goes out to the boy and his family…they will have many many hardships ahead. But should it really be at the cost of the club?

These black and hispanic inner city “underserved” kids get more than any “poor” kids I’ve ever seen. They get busswed to all the suburbs to wreak their havoc with eith our tax dolaars, their “churches”, or both, and we are supposed to just sit back and accept it. Well not me! I’m sick of it, sick of seeing what my kids have to look forward to, sick to death about this terrible President we have who will only enahnce this crap. Yes, as you said, EVERYDAY, they descended on the waterpark. While their so called parents drank at the bar and made more little wolves. But then a black Harvard professor, in a city with a black mayor and black police chief but he is the one who is discrminated against. Wake up people!!!

Your bigotry is showing…I fail to see how you tied the president to this, except that he is not white? C’mom, you ought to be able to do better than that. I know exactly what you mean though about urban kids coming to the suburbs to swim and how they behave. Our family stopped using the pool at a Pennsylvania state park because of their trashy behavior. But I can’t say for sure whether it is due to their race, environment or just lack of parental guidance when they only have a mama, who may be the sole provider and has to work….now that is a cultural thing. I don’t know why but for some reason, instead of copying the behavior of successful role models, they aspire to be gangstas and hard cases. Just ask Bill Cosby how he would approach a situation like that; instead of breaking the chains of slavery, they wear them like jewelry….easier to find fault with someone else than take account for their own circumstance. If the kids would have been well-behaved, I doubt if anyone could complain but the whole group suffers because not everyone gets it that you are treated as you treat others…that aggressive “what you starin’ at?” approach don’t get it, Bro….

puzzled – there is a compelte lack of personal responsibility and accountibility in the US. like this is something most of us don’t already know. of course the parents are suing the deep pockets and trying to deflect any personal responsibility, that’s the new american way. even from this tiny, non-informative article one can surmise the lifeguard, the swimming pool and the swim club have no liability and/or exposre in this matter but that won’t stop a stupid jury from ruling on emotions rather than facts.

Your post was made on 7/27 AFTER our black president indicated that one of our white police officers “acted stupidly”, in resonding to a call. Just so happened to be one of his black kronies on the other end. He jumps to conclusion about the oppression/profiling of the blacks. “Post racial society”???? Where did that come from?

    Hope and Change 2012!

Perhaps the family should have taken another path…..volunteering at a center caring for the paralyzed for example. This would lead a positive example for their other children, rather than reinforce irresponsibility.

This case should be threw out with prejudice, but before being finalized, the judge should place all cost on the proceedings on the attorney and the family that sued.

If this was done in our court system, these frivilous suits would cease to exist.

Then all of us that work to support this mandated taxpayer supported supposedly minority womb to tomb coverage would get a tax break.

Got ya there. Taxbreak my ***. They would just find another subsidy to pay.

By the way, I have seen the mob scenes at the local pools and parks, heard the filthy talk from 8 years oldgirls and boys and also saw the “What you staring at” glare, and the attempt to intimidate you with their crotch grab, headshake, shoulder rattle. No intimidation for me. They can just take their prison ***** (underware showing) look and just stroll on down the highway.

I did hear about how the white officer acted stupidly trying to protect the professor’s property. My comment about post racial society appears to be misguided. When our president was running for office he did say that we were to be a post racial society. Perhaps he “mis-spoke”? I suspected that we would never be post racial because of some group trying to top another group and using community organizers to do it. Hope and Change in 2012. Hope and Change in 2010, too.
