Maryland Construction Worker Struck and Killed by Dump Truck

Maryland Police say a construction worker is dead after being hit by a dump truck.

The worker was hit around 10:15 p.m. Thursday at a construction site in Capitol Heights.

Police say the driver of a dump truck was backing up and did not see the worker and the worker was pronounced dead on the scene.
