Police say more than 40 vehicles were vandalized during a night of destruction in one Philadelphia suburb.
Police say tires were slashed, vehicles were broken into or damaged, and one sport utility vehicle was set on fire in the driveway of a home. The fire damaged the garage area of the house.
Authorities say the destruction occurred late Monday night or early Tuesday morning in the Cold Springs section of Lower Providence Township in Montgomery County.
Police say about 40 incidents were reported and damage is estimated at about $50,000.
There were no reports of any injuries.
