Long Island police say a toddler drove a car into a building.
Police say the Coram boy’s parents had pulled into a parking spot in front of an office building in Medford Tuesday night.
Police say the boy’s mother, 23-year-old Latoya Clayton, got out of the car and left it running while she went into a check cashing business. The boy’s father, 58-year-old Michael Comissiong remained in the front passenger seat.
Police say the 20-month-old boy, who was in the back seat, climbed into the driver seat and put the car into drive, causing the vehicle to roll into the building.
There was minimal damage and no injuries.
