Authorities say the loss from Monday’s fire at a grocery store in the Falls Church area was $4.5 million.
The fire was reported about 10:40 p.m. at eMart International Grocery in the 8100 block of Arlington Boulevard.
Flames caused part of the roof to collapse near the rear of the building. Several nearby businesses in the Yorktown Shopping Center sustained smoke and water damage.
The fire was controlled in about 90 minutes.
