What an idiot you are! Little fire does not melt steel. It takes a big fire with a great deal of combustible material like jet fuel to melt steel. As for the rest of your rambling, you should have your doctor change your Rx or you should lay off the wacky weed. We do appreciate your views however. It is always satisfying to know there is no shortage of moorons.

Noone has ever claimed small fires melt steel. First of all a few thousand gallons of jet fuel burning is hardly a “small” fire. Secondly, condisering this building was emty the overall amount of combustible material was much smaller than an occupied office building with an airliner burning in the breakroom. Secondly, the fires in WTC did not MELT steel… the melting thoery is created by conspiracy thoerists painting a picture of dripping metal. The fire sufficiently weakened key load bearing structures as to allow a catastrophic collapse of the floors greatly exceeding the design load specs of the floors below.

As for pre- vs post- Spetember 11 science: A few thousand gallons of jet fuel couldn’t possibly soften steel… but an open fire of coals as fuel can sufficiently soften steel that it can be forged into a sword for thousands of years?

I love a good conspiracy theory and appreciate someone who can spin a good yarn but the Sept 11 wackos are just that, wackos.

I just wonder if you have ever done any research…google Professor Stephen E. Jones for a good starter and how he found sphere samples in dust collect from WTC that are clear evidence of thermate at the World Trade Center. The spheres contained iron and aluminum, which would be expected in any steel sample, but also sulphur which is a by-product of a thermate reaction.

Why did Larry Silverstein, the owner of the WTC complex, admit on a September 2002 PBS documentary, ‘America Rebuilds’ that he and the NYFD decided to ‘pull’ WTC 7 on the day of the attack. The word ‘pull’ is industry jargon for taking a building down with explosives. How did they have time to load it with explosives?

Want to really be scared…google SPP and see what the global elitist little monkey puppet is up to right now…yeah thats right meeting with Mexico and Canada under the SPP about the NAFTA Super Highway and bringing the dollar down so they can roll in the North American Union and the Amero just like the Bilderberg group said 5 years ago.

Thermite is most commonly used to weld steel (like in a steel framed structure or railroad tracks), Thermate, a derrivative of Thermite is a military application of thermite with a slightly lower ignition temperature. Additionally only Thermate-TH3 is regularly used by the military as an insindiary weapon. Neither are explosives and in fact are considered non-detonative, unless your theory is that Larry Silverstein melted the building but that would go against the thoery of the use of demolition charges I’ve seen.

“Pull” can also mean to get the firefighters out and accept the loss of the building rather than risk any more of NYFDs men in another building collapse. To say that Larry Silverstein used an “industry word” (presumably you mean building demolition industry) is unusual since he’s not in the buisness of building demolition.

The research I’ve done tells me that before a building is imploded there are days if not weeks to prep work. When a building is “pulled” it’s already set to fall over, the charges used finish the last few inches left behind after all load bearing structures have been weakend. In your grand conspiracy, tell me when WTC (any of the buildings) were closed for a week to prepare for this grand conspiracy.

And… could we stick with one rant at a time, unless you can connect Sept 11 to NAFTA and the N American superhighway somehow. You’re starting to sound like Johnathan Lee Riches here.

The paranoid version of truth is scary. Do not believe everything your cat tells you. You should corroborate it with your dog before release to the public. Also, you could do a great service to humanity by keeping your sickness away from the public.
    Thanks.

My uncle was the president and lead architect of the firm that designed the building back in the early Seventies. I can remember his renderings as being beautiful works of art that he was quite pleased with.
I think Uncle Harvey would really have been pleased to see that after the horrible devastation to the neighboring WTC, even with a tremendous gash clawed out of the front of his design, it still stood for nearly six years after it was torn open.
Unfortunately building codes of the time allowed the use of asbestos and other potentially hazardous materials. If it weren’t for these materials, the building would probably have been repaired and outlived us all. Now THAT would have been a testament to see.

Hey there Cop’s Dad. You are funny in your characterizations of Mr. Disposable, but rather than censure him/her just be grateful he/she is not your child and let them have their say…even though most of us haven’t a clue what the true point is…

    Mainemiss,
You are truly sweet. I was hoping to provoke more comment from him/her for its entertainment value. That may be cruel but it would have allowed the poor person to let more of that hurt and confusion out. They need to let it out as if there was a point to make. This is the best therapy I have found in clicical trials. I’m only looking to help these poor children.

Wasn’t trying to blame it on politicians. Just drawing an analogy. Probably should have said something like promoting them to the level of their inefficiency/Peter principle.
