The City of Havre de Grace is well aware of the continuous problems of the rain causing flooding on Grard Street when other streets are not”flooded.” Monday’s flooding effected other streets, Erie and Ostego that had not been hit by flood waters before. Girard Street has poor drainage. No one has even cleaned their drains since the storm or addressed them for over a year. It would help to correct one problem before attempting to resolve many.

Girard Street has flooded for years and continues to flood. Improve the drainage and put in piping or offer the residents options of land fills for them to resurface their homes. It effects all of them not just one or two people.

WOW! Who in the insurance business does not know flood insurance is very undersold? Who does not know that virtually any flood will leave most damage uninsured?

    This is news?

I had enough flood insurance for Isabel.
Over Two hundred thousand. But try to
get insurance to cover your loses. It’s
over 10 months now since Isabel, I want
    to go home.
