Brunswick, Maine-based Allenbrook, Inc. has been named Company of the Year at the Maine Software Developers Association’s (MESDA) Maine Technology Awards Gala. The awards recognize the top technology companies in Maine who have made significant contributions to the Software and Information Technology Industry over the past year.

Allenbrook, one of the industry’s leading P/C insurance automation providers, specializes in “equipping carriers with the technology, innovation, commitment, and resources customers need to evolve by providing their sales, rating, underwriting, accounting, and claims professionals with the software, training, and services,” said the company’s announcement.

The award honors “Maine companies that exhibit long-term growth, have a positive impact on the industry – and contribute significantly to Maine becoming a cutting-edge technology state,” the bulletin indicated.

President Chuck Peck commented “Allenbrook is honored to receive this prestigious award, as a Maine headquartered technology company serving Insurance carriers nationwide. Our policy administration, management and processing systems are unparalleled in reducing costs, increasing efficiencies, realizing ROI and payback certainty for our clients. Our insurance carrier clients can easily expand business across the country with our flexible, scaleable software and IT service and Insurance industry expertise. Up until now, we’ve specialized in the Property and Casualty segment of the insurance industry, but our system is adaptable to Life & Health markets and we are exploring those markets. Most importantly, our parent AMS gives us the undisputed advantage of being a one-stop, single- source provider of end-to-end solutions from carrier to agency distributors.”

Joe Kumiszcza, MESDA’s executive director, stated. “We are pleased to recognize Allenbrook’s strong commitment to the State of Maine; they not only employ nearly 100 people with high-paying careers but are dedicated to their product, diligent in choosing to work with Maine-based business partners, and support local vendors.”
