Authorities said two men died after being electrocuted while they were trimming palm trees in southwest Florida.
Collier County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Michelle Batten said the men were electrocuted while landscaping Saturday near a Naples condominium.
Batten said the men were working on a 30-foot aluminum ladder that slipped and hit a live power line.
Authorities said the men were pronounced dead at a hospital.
Batten said the sheriff’s office and the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating.
