If the road is clear, the vehicle is in good operating condition, and the driver is unimpaired, 100 mph is quite safe as proven on the German Autobahns where some sections have no speed limits and the accident and death rates are better than US interstates.

I would rather drive 100 mph on the Autobahn than 75 on American roads. There is a BIG difference!!!
