No question this was a tragedy, but consider the following. The father is a Mexican immigrant,(presumably legal), can’t speak a word of English, has five kids, picks lemons for a living, and is sending his kids to college on the taxpayers of the state of CA. I wonder how much HE pays in taxes.
Notwithstanding all that, it only took him 3 days to retain a personal injury attorney to file a lawsuit. The daughter probably hasn’t even been buried yet! In spite of the tragic loss of the daughter, this guy speaks the universal language of COMPENSATION. He just hit the lottery. And oh yeah, I forgot, he wants the railroads to be safer. I’m sure all migrant farm workers do. Nice touch. Come to America …….. Free Rides.

It took three days because of the weekend, I’m surprised they weren’t at the courthouse Friday night.
