Hasta pronto Mr. Rick. Sounds like alot of people don’t shop insurance. That is no excuse for ripping them off. It is like telling a beautiful woman that it is okay she got raped because it was her fault she is so beautiful. No man, some people need help. The commissioner is their friend on this one. Sometime it is ok to have someone take care of you.

The DOI has allowed Farmers to raise their fire rates, again. We spend more money in the State Capitol than Allstate.

This is what you get when ambulance chasing lawyers write a proposition and idiots vote for it. The CA. DOI CAN limit the profit insurers can make in the State of CA., BUT in no manner whatsoever does the DOI limit the potential losses a company can incur writing insurance in CA.
What kind of crap is that? That is NOT America. That is NOT what made this Country GREAT! We need to pass another prop explaining how all of the rural areas of CA. are totally subsidizing the inner cities via the prop 103 rating changes recently implemented. The removal of territories in the top 8 weighted rating factors is plain STUPID when correlating factors clearly prove territory is one of the primary rating factors used all over the WORLD to actuarialy calculate the risk of loss.

In today’s sputtering economic environment, people need all the help they can get just to pay the bills

CA, FL, LA, TX on & on it goes. Order the insurance companies to cut rates because they are making “too much” profit.

Is it just me because I’m in the industry? How come it seems to only be insurance companies that are scrutinized over their “excess profits” & excessive ceo compensation?

When is Exxon/Mobil going to be “ordered” to reduce their prices?

If you ask me, the insurance industry would be better off spending their lobbying dollars elsewhere.

What a joke, Allstate’s rates are lower that most carriers and the HO policy offers comprehensive coverage.

This is being done as the hills in
    Northern California are ablaze!

You guys are going through what us PA agents went through on personal auto in the early 90’s. If you want to cure this crap you must mobilize and support your companies. A march on the capital would help!

Instead of spending more money on their good sounding stupid government programs that just create more government jobs and don’t perform demand they stop those programs and roll back taxes.

Get some gonads and march on the capital for goodness sake!!!

    ¡Caramba hombres!
This is very good news, amigos. It could not have happened to a more worthy company. Allstate, you are now in good hands….the commissioner’s hands.

Use you brain, Salvadore, instead of being suckered by politicians. If you think Allstate is charging too much, do what you do with other products, shop around! Are you unable to take care of yourself and need to be cared for by a government bureaucrat?
