I’ve seen the most recent rate filing for this program. Well over 90% of policies are in LA County. Based on this stat and the dearth of policies anywhere else, it’s fair to say that the business case for this program outside of LA County has never been made.

have to pay so that deadbeats can feel good about themselves by operating an automobile? I know they have buses there.

What bothers me about the program is that the limits are so low the coverage becomes token. The current minimum limits in California arn’t even enough to coverage MOST cars in the state, but the limits for this program are even lower.

It is an absolute waste of time and money. Just a political ploy to get votes from the uninformed.

I know the CA minimium limits are $5K PD and $15/$30 for BI but what are the limits for this program. Yes, the current CA limits are horrendously low.
