    Dear Jacob, I have nothing to do with USANA products, I just found the corispondence itresting. All i can say is that evey aspect of life has it’s rules, including and especially businesses. I can suggest to you that if you can’t play by the rules, make them work for you or find a way around them. But no business in it’s right mind is going to let you break their rules, it’s just not good business. Any successful taxpaying adult can tell you that you just have to find a way around the rules, and make it work for you. Hope this helps and god bless, Eric Cook

    Roy Blocher, you claim USANA will be the Microsoft and IBM of nutritional science – put your money where your mouth is…I’ll wager you and any other supporter of this whacked company that USANA’s deceptive business model will be revealed in due time. Fred Cooper VP of Operations from your beloved USANA did not argue these numbers: *”87 per cent of commission-earning Usana distributors don’t make enough money to recover the cost of their monthly qualifying purchases from the company”; *”72.2 per cent of all Usana’s commissions are earned by 7.7 per cent of commission-earning distributors.”; and to add insult to your Associates, he said “that Usana believed most of the company’s distributors were ‘not interested in commissions’ and were happy to get their monthly qualifying purchases of vitamins for their own use.”;
    that information came from the http://www.nbr.co.nz/usana

    The numbers don’t lie and one other alarming fact from USANA’s own 2006 SEC filing reveals that USANA makes 86% of its net sales to its own distributors and only 14% to its preferred customers!! That’s ridiculous – in order for a true sale to be recognized, the USANA products must be resold – but they cannot because they are marked up ridiculously. It’s funny how these morons are defending USANA…

    Joe, your comment is as moronic as Roy’s…when you own a restaurant, do you make money by eating the food yourself? No you don’t – TELL ME EXACTLY WHO YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE? You make your money not because of the vitamins/personal care products you sell (you don’t have enough customers for that) but the people you recruit promising of the so-called ‘great earning potential’ while you use the products yourself or just sits in your garage. That’s a suicidal business model where your market saturation is a time bomb getting ready to blow up in your face. You’re riding the backs of people who won’t make any money at all. That’s just plain wrong.

    That means that the “class” was sent packing and the suit cannot be brought again. And be clear, no settlement was made, Usana won in court.
