It concerns that these individuals were investagated by the Fresno County Fraud Unit. I am concerned because in 2002 I reported a provider that had been submitting fraudulant reports for an extended period of time, when the detective finally investigated the complaint the provider told them something to the effect that I was a \”scorned woman\” (untrue).
They not only believed him but they HIRED him to evaluate patients. I took the corporation we both worked for to court, however my attorney did not file the case correctly so the company and the provider got away with the crime. If he was in any way involved with this investigation I believe any and all evidence relating to his findings should be removed or discounted in the prosecution of these individuals.
I have also worked with some of the individuals involved in this case and to say the least it shocked me to read that they may be involved. Their focus was always quality patient care within the guidelines of the fee schedule and law.
