    Of course not; it’s all about money. This sounds like “black ice”, a condition that is undetectable until it’s too late. If that is in fact the case, speed wasn’t the proximate cause. Apparently, the vehicle in which the victim was injured couldn’t control that vehicle either. Was she cited for excessive speed? I doubt it.

    And where were the police who are supposed to set up warning flares for motorists approaching the scene? And where was the training and good judgment of the EMT?
