“Perry is undaunted by losing the bet.”

The insurer lost “the bet”, not the storeowner.

Who was the insurer? Anyone know?

I’m sorry I cannot remember the name of the insurer. This was one of the top stories on yahoo a few days ago. The video article is probably still in their archieves somewhere. The jewlrey store owner said he was very excited about the business and is fully insured for the “losses.”

He was very well versed in event insurance and has an active policy for rain on wedding days – buy a ring from him and if it rains on your wedding day the ring is free.

He went on to say that some people have already brought their purchases back and used the credit to make a larger purchase. He wasn’t shy to say that he has made a lot of money from this promotion – even though he “lost” according to this article.

I thought the company was NICO but that wasn’t it.
