    agreed, i mourn for the loss of their son… but an accident can happen and it does not need to be someone else’s fault… think the lawyer is gunning for money only because it’s a child that died… um, what if the child had caused the explosion? they did not find what caused the accident…

    Let’s see..they supplied the gas in a pipe that supplied the neighborhood? Yeah, there’s a reason. No mention if the connecting device was faulty. They can’t even decide on a cause.

    Your article illustrates some of the hypocrisy within our natural gas industry. The utility boards says that they don’t make comments and then they made a comment. Of course, it was a comment pleading ignorance, which I’ve heard is a great defense. I investigated gas leaks for over 15 yrs but was fired and blacklisted for speaking to homeowners about safety concerns. Leaks are everywhere. While one major explosion gets nationwide press, nationwide explosions only merit local attention. They happen daily.
