Both YEAH and PK are both full of crap, if these folks want to remember what happened in the fire, so be it and as for Pearl Harbor, how dare you say it should be shut down, you s/be shut down – damn you!

This happened 70 freaking years ago people. Give it up. There aren’t that many people still alive who remember this. Don’t you have anything more to do in life but recall an isolated incident and create a freaking museum? This is pathetic. Just goes to show that careless smoking has been and continues to be the cause of disasters. Humans just don’t get it.

I have spent 33 years in the fire safety and health field, unfortunately, our society is too much like the previous writer who PooPoo the hard and deadly lessons learned over time. We as a society only change our fire & life safety codes following horrible deadly fires.

PK you may think its crap, but, the memory of others, and resulting changes, has kept you alive in the restuarants, theatres, offices, and night clubs you go to regularly.

You are right, P.K. Why should we create a memorial to a bunch of innocent people who died needlessly 70 years ago. What’s the point?

I mean, Pearl Harbor was 69 years ago – we really should shut down the memorial at the USS Arizona as well – I mean so few people are alive who remember that day.

Next time you have a thought, let it go.
