    he’s mad;
    “That won’t pay his nine employees, the bills he owes suppliers for unsold inventory and taxes, Holmes said.”

    i think possibly they should pay for employees if they did not work. but unsold inventory and taxes, no… i can understand profit… if you think about it, since he’s had not anglers, he’s not had to spend $$ on deck hands and fuel… so i can understand BP’s partially covering claims… you’d had better show me data for the past 3 – 5 yrs, because what if it was not just the oil spill but it was an off month for anglers/tourists to visit? are you then going to sue the state for tourism problems? don’t think that govn’r would allow that one.

    If his shop had burned down, what cover was he carrying for payroll?
    Wouldn’t his crew file for unemployment, and then state would hand BP a bill.

    Business Income loses are the hardest to adjust and now we are going to get Government Employees to pay the claims from the 20 Billion. Are these going to be ex-Acorn Employees?

    BP should ask for last 5 years number for these months and adjust based on the recent downturn in coastal tourism. Just another for politicians to try and get votes and for people to ask the government to bail them out due to an economic downturn.
