A 71-year-old woman crashed a car into a medical building in Tampa, Florida.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office reports that the woman was taking her 91-year-old mother to a doctor’s appointment at the building Friday morning. As she was pulling in, she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and went through the building’s outer wall, coming to rest with the front half of the car inside the building.
Officials say the crash caused about $2,000 in damage to the car and about $20,000 to the building.
