Although i don’t like to comment on political issues, look at what Clinton rode? He was on the tail end of the the internet boom that was put in place by favorable taxation laws put in place by a republican.
GW, had the unfortunate task of taking the control of a bubble that had burst. If Gore won in 2000 then he would have faced the same issue. However instead of spending 100s of billions on a war in Iraq we would have spent the money on something better, i.e. renewable energy – which would have helped us dramatically right about now.
Nonetheless, it’s easy to point a finger at George and say that he’s created this deficit with his war spending, but without the war we wouldn’t have had the increase in US manufacturing to provide weapons and vechiles for such a war. Do I agree with going to War, No. But do i agree with blaming one person for our current situation, No.
“but without the war we wouldn’t have had the increase in US manufacturing to ”
_________
Nope, under Bush we have lost over 30% of all our manufacturing jobs, get your facts straight.
We don’t exactly have too many experts in economics, history and politics on this site. Lord, these are some ignorant comments. Please do some research and give some actual thought before trying to make a comment on a complicated subject. Don’t just take your views whole from the web sites. It makes you seem just plain stupid.
The last couple of commentators claims things are being made up and that everyone is uninformed. I’d like to ask, specifically what has been quoted as facts that you feel are made up and mis informed?
I’m not claiming anything is made up. The postings simply show a no knowledge of anything they discuss, economics, politics or history. They pretend to analyze these things with no knowledge whatsoever. Comparing any comments that were made to the actual facts would be like comparing a classic book to classic comics. Someone on another post said our collective IQ in this country has gone down 15 points. I think that may be a sad underestimate. Easy answers and analysis to questions that have no easy answers. The earlier posters stated their opinions and I simply stated that their opinions reflect ignorance. Pretty simple to understand, even for some of these posters. The collective IQ of the posters on this site appears to be going down, but it is Friday afternoon after all.

The one about Bush not being responsible for the deficit.

Im not saying I understand the issues any better than the rest of you, personally I dont follow politics and I know nothing about it.
So if you know nothing about politics how can you know that everyones IQ is so low and yours is so high??
