the law provides for rather stiff penalities for what he’s alledgedly done. if he is convicted my guess he will receive very little time and only partial fines… and what a shame on us, that will be. How we have gotten to the point where the time doesn’t fit the crime any longer is astonishing. it’s a terible message thats been sent to the masses for all types of crime – you can get away with almost anything today and pay a little or no price for the deeds.

Fred: I agree. However, the main reason why so many criminals are not serving the time they deserve is that our prisons are FULL. There’s no room. If the District Attorney can swing it with the judges, it’s now a fine and home incarceration. Let’s face it: unless we do something about 1)illegal immigration; 2) the infrastructure [i.e. more prison cells]; and 3) controlling our borders, we’ll see only the MOST violent prisoners behind bars, and that’s only after the 2nd or 3rd offense.

When a DA gets a vendetta going against someone, they go to jail. Look at Michael Vick. If this guy from Louisville was high profile, he’d probably go to, especially now that Johnny Cochran is dead.
