You knew this would not last long. Their agents would be up in arms about not being able to write business, particularly if you are a newer Allstate agent. http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Arizona.Auto.Insurance.480-659-0229

Is anyone else fed up with the Florida DOI jerking insurance companies around? Allstate should tell them to pound salt. Florida has to be a loss leader with annual hurricanes and an old population that doesn’t want to pay for anything but the Early Bird Special.

Has nobody recognized this was only a peeing contest?

Allstate stopped writing a long time ago.

Florida needs Allstate far more than vice-versa. Come to think of it, what insurance company NEEDS Florida? You are right, this was (and will be again) a urinating contest. Unfortunately, the Florida Department of Insurance never heard Jim Croce warn “Don’t spit (pee) into the wind”.
