    Beavers’ claim that “drivers of larger vehicles arnen’t as likely to be within reach of people who are drinking” is ludi crous.
    What is the safe distance. Perhaps RVs, long SUVs and pickup trucks should be exempt. What about people with short arms.

    Actually that comment is not that far off base. How many people in the back of a limo has access to the steering wheel. An exception for limos in this bill makes entire sense. I can’t believe people are actually advocating to have open alcohol containers in a car. BTW – i am SO over the overused and overhyped term elite, elitism, elitist, etc. The usage of this words is so pedestrian.

    All I can say is wow! Seems like the law is focused on the wrong thing, I would suggest more like serious crimes. Come on now, the passenger? None sense an whoever passed this law I came bet he or she has alrdy violated it.
