    1. turn valve to the “high” position.
    2. with the lid closed, wait 60 seconds for the gas to accumulate inside the grill to make ignition easier.
    3. raise lid an either press the electric igniter button or toss in a match.
    4. if grille doesn’t light, repeat previous step while looking down into grille.
