I really don’t believe anyone here thinks State Farm (or any other carrier) is innocent. It’s when these holier than thou attorneys, etc. go around pointing fingers & running over the backs of everyone else flaunting how great they are and then get caught at their own game they are comforted that the mighty fall so far.

Will he be giving money back to firms sued under his Asbestos scam?

Will the states no pay him the millions he ‘earned’ in the tabacco settlements?

Will industry in this country lose thier fear that some fing lawyer like this one, will not put them into the poor house with his legal shenanagins?

I hope that they come after him with more while he is in prison.

Being the optimist that I am, I’m taking bets that there will be some plea deal that won’t force this piece of human garbage to make restitution for the millions he sucked out of the system, and to get off with losing his license to practice law and probation, no jail time. If anybody thinks that’s justice I have a bridge here in NYC for sale. This idiot has lived, and will continue to live like a king from defrauding the legal system he took an oath to uphold. None of these scumbags ever gets punished the way a lay person would if convicted of the same thing.

Hope this shuts up Dickie’s brother-in-law, Trent Lott, on his tirade against the insurance industry.

to pile on. I hope everyone on the planet that he has ever screwed over or sued out of existence just for his own enrichment comes out of the woodwork. It would be just beautiful to see this cat before a judge on something new once a week while he’s in the pokey.

I am not a fan of Spitzer or Scruggs. But at the same time if you think State Farm is innocent throughout all of this you are out of your mind. At the end of the day neither side is right and both deserve to be thrown to the wolves. Gordon Gecko was wrong, greed is NOT good. The actions of a few only hurt the large majority of people that work hard, provide for their families and do things the right way.

I had quit reading most of these articles because of the insurance (one-sided) sided tone of the response to most articles published here. I would like to thank realist for his singular observation that corporations bear the brunt of attacks from attorneys due to their greed just as others also must do.If you guys had worked a MS claim you’d know how and why all this went down.
