At the risk of sounding insensitive, common sense should have prevailed and this building should have been allowed to burn. There were no other people inside and even if there were, some situations don’t justify risking more lives. A bunch of couches in an old building were burning. The fire was getting progressively worse, and there was nothing to be saved. These men should never have been placed in this position.
