As a practicing RM professional for the past 30 years, with 5 years prior heavy construction management and safety administration experience , I am shocked at how frequently I observe poor construction site safety practices in general, and improper trench shoring procedures in particular. I wonder how much of the lack of adequate safety techniques is the result of fewer workers\’ comp carriers providing loss prevention services?
