We had a lot of trouble with this Haag outfit following a hail storm in St. Louis in May 2004. They were hired by one of our homeowners insurers and consistently seemed to find no hail damage at homes they inspected! We later had the declinations overturned but not until we went through considerable hassle. I believe the wronged insureds would have sued if they had had to.
When my State Farm Adjuster told me that State Farm Refused to pay $1.oo because all of the damage was from water.
I said that I would file a suit.
The Adjuster said \”The Engineering Firm said it was all water\” and State Farm has more money than you and they have the best Lawyers too!

He could and would not tell me.

Months later I called to see if they would reconsider because I had a video as evidence.
State Farm Rep called me to say
My records do not show that an Engineering Firm or that One Engineer was ever at my home.
My Response was: Sir, I know. It\’s the reason why I am complaining.
Still my claim was denied again.
